$30 per person fundraising dinner
Join Us for a Magical Evening
Ella is a local organic farmer who will be attending a farmers training program in Santa Cruz, California. To be able to attend this program, Ella is inviting the community to a fundraising dinner at Estia’s Little Kitchen.
Ella finished an incredible growing season at Quail Hill Farm in Amagansett. She says: “I have been very inspired by the work of Quail Hill’s Farm Director, Scott Chaskey, who has shown me the potential that farms and healthy food have to enrich and sustain communities. It is time for me to take the next step on my journey and better learn to carry forward farming knowledge to future generations.”
This next step will take place at The Center for Agroecology and Sustainable Food Systems at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Graduates go on to be leaders in sustainable agriculture and work to make lasting positive changes to our food system.
Chef Colin Ambrose decided he wants to help raise money for Ella to attend the school by having this fundraising dinner. It will feature local organic root vegetables. Your contributions from the dinner will directly fund Ella’s tuition costs as well as costs for tools and books.
Please join us for a magical evening featuring the bounty of last season’s local harvest prepared by the very talented Chef Colin Ambrose.
If you cannot attend but would still like to help, please consider making a donation to Ella’s tuition fund at GoFundMe.
